The International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine invites you to the first Evidence-based Course
Clinical research is crtically important for the constant advancement in medicine; however, its implementation in several clinical specialties remains immature. In general, clinicians have little knowledge and practice in evaluating clinical research evidence critically. The purpose of this course is to cover basic concepts of clinical research through a highly interactive learning evironment and to offer participants the basic tools on how to approach evidence-based medicine and how to critically analyze and use it in their day to day practice.
The platform evironment is based on an online collaborative learning model, in which students are able to interact with their peers and strenghten their knowledge through discussion and debate. Online lectures will take place in different time points during the course, followed by the online discussion forum.
